Six Shooter Canyon, 5/30/03

This canyon descends from the top of Pinal Peak, towards Superior, AZ. It starts at almost 8000 feet and descends to 3800 feet. Initially, it is beautiful ponderosa pine forest, and then becomes more deserty as you descend. The top is fairly smooth singletrack, with a rocky section further down. John Pollock can attest to that, having crashed hard enough (on an easy section) that he had trouble walking by the end of the day.
