Thunder Mountain Trail, 5/16/02
Next we drove up to Panguitch, UT (by Bryce Canyon), and did two rides in Red Canyon, on the western approach to Bryce. These rides were not as acrobatic as Goosebury Mesa, but they were spectacularly beautiful, and the altitude of 8000 feet made them a challenge. On the Thunder Mountain Trail, we had the misfortune of getting behind a group of 70 horses, so it was slow going.
